September 29, 2010 - Dr. Appt - 23 weeks

Mike and I went to the Dr. today for another Ultra Sound (9/29/210).  It was so amazing!  Not only did we get to see the normal sonogram pix of her, but we got to see her in 3D too!  We could actually see her facial features and what she looks like.  Unfortunately, the freeze frames are not as clear as seeing it live, but we attached some pix here anyway and I hope these descriptions I type out can help you to figure out what you're looking at.

This first one is just the normal (2D) Sonogram Pic - It's a profile of the side of her face and upper body - You can see her forehead, eyes, nore, mouth and chin - you can also see her arm and hand pointing upwards in the back ground.  (FYI: the top of her head is on you left, the back of her head is on the bottom, and her face is pointing upwards)

This next one is a 3D Sonogram pic - Unfortunately, she was moving around a lot, so it was hard to get a clear picture - but this one is a profile pic (her head is in the middle - the top of her head is pointing up ward and she is facing the left side) - You can see the right side of her face - her forhead, eye lid, nose, cheek, mouth and chin.

Here's another 3D Pic - similar to the one above except her face is facing forward a little bit more, but you can still only see the right side of her face because her arm and hand are covering the left side of her face.  So, her head is again in the middle - top of her head pointing towards the top of the picture.  You can see the line that we all have down the middle of our forheads.  Again, you can see her forehead, eyelid, cheek, jawline, chin and half of her lips.
